We lost our 13 year old cat over 4 years ago and no one around here has mentioned anything about new kitties. Certainly not Molly the chocolate lab or Dusty the little mix breed pomeranian. However this little Lilly kitten has tempted me to think about it. For now much less upheaval if the kitties remain on watercolor paper.
Jessie -Watercolor class today at the Yaquina Art Assocation in Newport Oregon. I've been looking for a time to sit down and paint this darling dog Jessie. I found Jessie's photo on Wetcanvas.com's image library and I've just fallen in love with this little dogs face. Thank you to Kimo on Wetcanvas.com for your submission of Jessie.
Every year my husband attempts to move this plant to another part of the yard and every spring it just comes right back up with even more vigor right where he doesn't want it. I love it no matter where it is.
What a beautiful day on the Oregon Coast and particularly up the Yachats River Valley where this charming old covered bridge stretches across the beautiful river. I just couldn't help but stop to paint it.
This is the beginning of my blog. As with any beginning there is always anticipation of what is ahead and it's potential to bring a difference in the future. Yesterday is gone and we can only imagine what tomorrow brings. Certainly this moment in time is perfect and as it should be.
This small watercolor painting Eye To The Future as a symbolic step forward to what I hope will bring a light into my artistic world that has be so long quieted by the demands of life and raising of a family.
